1. What We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address and the moniker you choose. When you use the studio, we store your prompts, generated artworks, and master selections. When you make a purchase, we collect billing information necessary to process the transaction, which is handled by our Merchant of Record. We also collect standard analytics — page views, feature usage — to improve the service.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your data powers your experience: we store your artworks so you can revisit your collection, and your prompts so the critique engine can do its work. We use billing information to process payments, fulfill purchases, prevent fraud, and comply with tax and accounting obligations. Analytics help us understand which features matter most. We do not train AI models on your artwork or prompts.
3. Data Sharing & Third-Party Processors
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers who act as our processors under appropriate contractual safeguards: our Merchant of Record Creem (which processes payments, billing, and tax-related data), our hosting and storage providers, our email service provider, and analytics tools. These processors are bound to use your data only on our behalf and in accordance with applicable law. We may also share anonymized, aggregated data for analytics or reporting. Public artworks in the gallery are visible to other users — only the work, its title, and your moniker are shown. We may disclose data when required by law or to protect our rights.
4. International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed and stored by us or our service providers in countries other than your own, including the United States and EU member states. Where this involves a transfer outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, or another lawful transfer mechanism under applicable data protection law. By using Arteliora, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to and processed in such jurisdictions.
5. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. Analytics cookies help us understand usage patterns. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work as expected. See our Cookie Policy page for full details.
6. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secure servers with encryption at rest and in transit. We follow industry best practices for access control and monitoring. Payment card data is handled entirely by our Merchant of Record and processors; we do not store full card numbers on our servers. While we take reasonable precautions, no online service can guarantee absolute security.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account data and artworks for as long as your account remains active. Billing and transaction records are retained as required for tax, accounting, and legal purposes, which may extend beyond account closure. If you delete your account, your personal data and private artworks are permanently removed within 30 days. Public gallery works may remain visible unless you remove them before deletion.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time. You can exercise most of these rights through your curator settings, or by contacting us at privacy@arteliora.com. We comply with applicable data protection laws including the EU/EEA GDPR, the UK GDPR, and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
9. Children's Privacy
Arteliora is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will remove it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We will notify you of material changes to this policy via email or in-app notice. The updated policy will be posted here with a revised date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
11. Contact
